Family & Community Surveys

This survey is part of a listening project to learn what students, staff, family and community members want and need at our schools in Inyo County. It is a chance for you to share what you love about your school and what you wish your community’s schools could be. By taking this survey, you are helping us identify the needs and assets in our communities.

Your voice as a family and community member is very important, and we thank you for sharing it!

Listening Project

The Listening Project is an inclusive, systematic process for listening to and learning from students, staff, families, and community members about what they love about their school and what their vision is for their school and community. Information is collected via online surveys, focus groups, and one-on-one interviews. Percentages in the graphs below indicate number of people participating in the listening project by educational partner and by school district. Data will be updated weekly.

Inyo County Community Schools Planning Grant

Community Schools are public schools that partner with stakeholders to create the conditions students need to thrive. There is no one-size fits all model. Every community school is different because every community is different. Figuring out what it looks like in your community starts by getting everyone involved. That is the full-time job of a community school coordinator; they are the human bridge connecting all the stakeholders that make community schools possible. Learn more by reading our brochure below, or clicking on the tabs above.
