Working in partnership with school districts, other agencies, and families, the Inyo County Board of Education and Superintendent of Schools staff supports quality education for all students.
Our responsibilities are to facilitate and communicate information, programs, and change; serve as an innovative role model; promote increased efficiency; and coordinate efforts.

Our Inyo County Board of Education also meets at least once a year as the County Committee on School Organization. They have held 2 public hearings in the last month to discuss the potential trustee area changes due to redistricting arising from the 2020 census information.
