Come work where others play…
It’s an exciting and challenging time to be an educator, and the Inyo County Office of Education is the place to be. We’re proud of the work we do at ICOE, whether it’s supporting our seven school districts with a wide array of instructional programs and services, operating innovative preschools, alternative schools, and vocational classes throughout the county, or offering countywide special education services.
We’re also proud of our team of educators – dedicated teachers, administrators and support staff who have chosen to make a difference in the lives of children throughout the valley. We offer competitive salaries, an excellent benefit package, and a commitment to professional growth.
Located next to the Eastern Sierra Mountain Range, Inyo is the second largest county in the state with terrain that ranges from Death Valley to Mt. Whitney. Our communities reflect a quiet, small-town way of life with a low crime rate, weather that is fairly moderate, and schools with dedicated educators. There is also a vast array of recreational opportunities ranging from skiing and snowboarding at the local Mammoth Mountain and June Lake ski areas to fishing, rock climbing, horseback riding, hiking, and more. It’s a wonderful place to raise a family, and a fun place to live – with something for everyone.
